SSYDR Inc. was formed by a group of specialists in sustained youth development to continue the successful work of the Skills and Knowledge for Youth Employment Project in Guyana. The project has achieved significant success in reducing youth vulnerability to crime and providing livelihood opportunities. To date, SKYE has reached 2,764 youth, trained 2040, placed 785 in jobs, and facilitated 158 youth business startups. The project has developed signature curricula and monitoring tools to track participants' progress. With the closing off of USAID funding, SSYDR Inc. aims to continue connecting youth to the good life through sustained youth development efforts.
